WARSAW – Two miners died in an accident at a coal mine owned by PGG, Poland’s greatest coal producer, within the southern metropolis of Myslowice, town’s mayor stated on Thursday.
“There was a tragic accident… Two miners had been killed and two had been injured,” Myslowice mayor Dariusz Wojtowicz stated in a Fb publish.
The State Mining Authority stated earlier that there have been 4 miners within the space, two of whom managed to get out. The incident occurred within the afternoon within the Myslowice-Wesola mine, greater than 600 metres underground.
A consultant stated that there had been a rockfall underground however that he didn’t have any extra particulars.
